Human cremation sits at around 69.5%[3] in Michigan, and pet owners are split in a similar way. Grosse Pointe weather and timing

Rules worth knowing in Michigan
If you leave your cat at the clinic without choosing, most practices will arrange communal cremation by default, and you won't get ashes back. That's legal and dignified, but it can't be undone.
