Weather, timing and your cat in Las Cruces

What New Mexico allows: burial, scattering and more
Before you bury, scatter or plan a memorial, it's worth checking what New Mexico allows. Keeping ashes at home is allowed everywhere we know of. What to do next, one step at a time
- If your cat dies at night, you don't need to call anyone until morning. Move your cat to a cool room and cover them with a towel.
- Put a towel or pad underneath. It's normal for a cat's bladder or bowels to release after death.
