Most cat owners here already know what a private cremation is, local providers are well established and nobody will think twice about a small urn on a bookshelf. With a cat, that urn can be tiny, which suits apartments and busy shelves alike.

What to do when your cat dies in Oceanside

Does the Oceanside climate change what I should do first?
Only the timing. In August, with highs near 71°F, cool the body and book collection the same day. Winters here are mild enough that burial or scattering is possible in any month.
